The ForestNavigator Portal brings together two interactive tools for the EU forest sector, to offer freely accessible forest data, to inform forest management and policy in and across the EU. All data is transparently documented, downloadable, and exportable in either component. The Data Explorer visualises harmonised, spatially explicit datasets, including forest status, changes and disturbances.
Further data, such as biodiversity data, will be available later this year.
The Pathways Explorer, expected to be available in summer 2026, will visualise EU and national forest mitigation pathways, including baseline policy pathways and alternative pathways.
